After launching the ZUK Z2 Pro earlier, Lenovo-backed ZUK has launched its second smartphone of the year named as the ZUK Z2. The smartphone has been made available only in China for the moment at a pricing of 1799 Yuan which is about Rs. 18,400/$275.
The ZUK Z2 sports a 5-inch Full HD display which is said to feature anti-fingerprint and anti-oil protection. Under the hood, it has a 2.15GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. It houses a 13MP rear shooter with ISOCELL sensor, f/2.2 aperture, electronic image stabilization (EIS), and phase detection autofocus (PDAF). On the front, you will get an 8MP camera with f/2.0 aperture.
Like the previous ZUK phones, the ZUK Z2 comes with 64GB of internal storage with no microSD card expansion support. The whole package is powered by a 3500mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. The phone is said to get 80% charged within one hour. There is a fingerprint scanner at the back which can unlock the device in 0.1 second and even works with wet fingers. On the software front, the ZUK Z2 runs on ZUK’s own ZUI based on Android Marshmallow v6.0.
