The Chinese smartphone maker ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has posted a teaser image on Weibo. The teaser image is about an event which is scheduled for January 5. It shows a smartphone in the background along with the text, “Hello, World” and “Coming Soon” along with the event date.
While nothing is known about the event, there is a very high probability that ZTE may unveil its much-rumored flagship smartphone, the ZTE Nubia Z11. The phone’s specifications and features have been rumored on a number of occasions in the past. It is also rumored that the Nubia Z11 may be the first-ever high-end smartphone from ZTE to launch in the USA.
The Nubia Z11 is rumored to be sporting a 5.2-inch QHD bezel-less curved display. Under the hood, it is expected to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone is said to offer 32GB/64GB/128GB of built-in storage along with 20.7MP/13MP cameras. It is said to be sporting a metallic build and a fingerprint scanner at the back.
However, there is also a probability that ZTE may only launch the International website for its Nubia brand. The reason to believe this is that recently, ZTE purchased the domain name nubia.com for a whopping $2 million. But whatever it is, we will keep you posted.
