Xiaomi’s upcoming smartphone Mi MIX 2 has now been spotted on the popular benchmarking website Geekbench. The listing refers the phone as simply “Mi MIX” and lists it with high-end specifications which you would expect from any current generation flagship.
The Geekbench listing shows the Mi MIX 2 featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor clocked at 1.90GHz and coupled with 6GB of RAM. On the software front, it is listed to be running Android Nougat 7.1.1 which should be layered with the upcoming MIUI 9 custom UI. As for scores, the smartphone managed to score 1929 and 6431 points in single core and multi-core tests respectively.
The Mi MIX 2 will be a successor the original Mi MIX which Xiaomi unveiled last year. It was one of the most innovative and interesting releases of the year as it features almost bezel-less design from all sides except for the bottom chin which is just slightly more visible than all remaining three.
But this time around, Xiaomi has plans to take it to the next level with expectations of even higher screen-to-body ratio on the Mi MIX 2. Some rumors have suggested that it could be more than 90% for a 6.4-inch Quad HD display. The phone is expected to be available in three configurations: 4GB RAM with 128GB storage, 6GB RAM with 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM with 256GB storage.
