The Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched two new smartphones, the Vivo X7 and X7 Plus in its homeland. Both the phones feature the same set of specifications except for the difference in the screen size, cameras, and battery capacity.
The Vivo X7 sports a 5.2-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display and the Vivo X7 Plus comes with a larger 5.7-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display which makes it kind of a phablet device. There is a 16MP/13MP camera combo for the Vivo X7 and a 16MP/16MP cameras for the bigger variant. You will get phase detection autofocus and LED flash with both phone’s rear shooters. As for the battery, Vivo has supplied 3000mAh and 4000mAh batteries with the X7 and X7 Plus respectively.
Talking about rest of the specs, both the phones are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage which means you will not have to worry about running out of space in near future of buying the phone. Both the phones are dual-SIM, 4G support, and feature a fingerprint scanner. On the software front, they run on Funtouch OS v2.5.1 based on Android Lollipop v5.1.
The Vivo X7 has been priced at CNY 2498 (about Rs. 25,000/$375) with sales starting on July 7. As for the Vivo X7 Plus, it will go on sale starting July 15 and the price will be revealed on the same day.
