Samsung has announced its latest mid-range smartphone, the Galaxy On Max. It is aimed at those who love to click photos on their phones, especially those who are a fan of taking selfies and sharing them on social media. The phone claims to have cameras with great photography capabilities along with front flash and different photo editing as well as quick social media sharing features.
The Samsung Galaxy On Max has a 13-megapixel shooter on both the back and front panel with f/1.7 and f/1.9 aperture respectively. The company says that it has put special focus on making cameras capable of clicking great low-light photos. There is also a Social Camera Mode which offers instant share and edit features so that users can not only edit their photos quickly but share them to their favorite social media platforms as well. The mode offers photo editing features like Live Filters and India-themed stickers to make photos look good and unique.
In terms of other technical specifications, the Galaxy On Max sports a 5.7-inch Full HD display. It comes with an octa-core MediaTek processor clocked at 2.39GHz and coupled with 4GB of RAM. It offers 32GB of internal storage with support for microSD card expansion. The whole package is powered by a 3300mAh battery and it will be running Android Nougat out of the box. There is also a fingerprint scanner on the front panel.
Samsung has loaded the smartphone with Samsung Pay Mini as well which will make it easier for users to pay for things they buy even from offline retail shops. The Galaxy On Max has been priced at Rs. 16,900 and is a Flipkart exclusive. It is currently listed on the eCommerce store but will go on sale starting July 10th with the option to choose from Black or Gold color variants.
