Samsung has been rumored of working on foldable smartphones for quite a long time with various patent registrations, reports, and leaks. And now, there is a new leak coming from China which suggests that Samsung actually has two foldable smartphones, Galaxy X1 and Galaxy X1 Plus, under works.

The leak was spotted on the Chinese social network Weibo where the leakster mentioned that Galaxy X1 and Galaxy X1 Plus bears the model number SM-X9000 and SM-X9050 respectively. These phones are said to ship with Android Marshmallow v6.0.1 and Nougat 7.0 for the Galaxy X1 and Galaxy X1 Plus models.


Samsung is further rumored to incorporate a secondary or flexible display into smartphones which will come in use when the phone will be folded. The primary display is said to be of 4K resolution with phones coming loaded with features like the fingerprint scanner, a face scanner, an iris scanner, and biometric authentication.

Both foldable smartphones are currently rumored to be under testing in China under the codename Project Valley. Samsung is said to make these phones official in the second half of this year.
