We all are waiting for the Nokia comeback at the next year’s MWC conference in Barcelona. While we have heard a number of rumors related to Android smartphones that Nokia might be launching, it is the Nokia D1C which has been one of the most widely speculated device.
The Nokia D1C is rumored to come in two variants for quite some time and as per a new tip from Nokia Power User(NPU), the D1C could be priced at Rs. 9,999 ($150) and Rs. 12,999 ($200) for the 2GB and 3GB RAM models respectively. While the reliablity of this top is not on positive side for sure, it does fall in line with HMD CEO’s statement about releasing Nokia smartphones at a competitive price.
Other than the difference in the amount of RAM, the two Nokia D1C models are also expected to feature different displays, 5-inch and 5.5-inch, and different rear cameras, 13MP and 16MP. The rest of D1C specifications include a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU, 16GB internal storage, 8MP front facing camera, and Full HD display.
In the report, NPU has further mentioned that this tip is coming from an unusual source so they have recommed to take it with a grain of salt. But if this tipped pricing comes out to be true, it will surely increase the competition in the market already full of offerings from the likes of Xiaomi, Lenovo, and LeEco.
