The upcoming Nokia D1C ‘smartphone’ has been making rounds of the internet rumor mill for quite some time and now, it has made an appearance on Geekbench benchmark once again. But as per the latest listing, the Nokia D1C is actually an Android tablet instead of the smartphone that we were thinking until now.
As per Geekbench, the Nokia D1C sports a 13.8-inch Full HD display which makes it not only a tablet but also a massive tablet that you might not want to carry around all the time. It seems like an Android tablet aimed at media consumption but we don’t really know Nokia’s plan yet.
Talking about other specs, the Nokia D1C tablet has an octa-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with Adreno 505 GPU and 3GB RAM. The tablet will be available in 16GB and 32GB storage options. There is a 16MP rear shooter and an 8MP front shooter. Another interesting bit of information is that the tablet will be supporting SIM card which means you will not have to rely on WiFi connection for connecting to the internet.
So what do you of this second Nokia-branded tablet named as the Nokia D1C and sporting a huge 13.8-inch display? Would you be buying one? Share your thoughts via the comments section below.
