As we all were expecting and waiting for the big day, Nokia officially unveiled three smartphones at MWC 2017 event. These smartphones are Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6 global edition. While the first two are new launches, the third one is simply the global variant of the Nokia 6 launched in China earlier this year.
Nokia 3 Specifications:
The Nokia 3 is the cheapest and entry-level smartphone from HMD Global. It is made up of polycarbonate along with the aluminum frame. It sports a 5-inch HD display with Corning Gorilla Glass and polarizing filter. Under the hood, it has a quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB RAM. The phone has an 8MP shooter both on the front and back but the rear shooter has f/2.0 aperture and LED flash.
The phone offers 16GB of internal storage and is backed by a 2650mAh battery. It will be shipping with Android Nougat v7.1 out of the box and has been priced at €140.
Nokia 5 Specifications:
The Nokia 5 is a tad costly than the Nokia 3 with slightly better specifications but nothing special to talk about. The phone features a 5.2-inch HD display with polarizing effect for better sunlight visibility. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage. The phone has a 13MP camera on the back with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and dual-tone LED flash. As for taking selfies, it has an 8MP front camera with 84-degree wide-angle lens.
The whole package is powered by a 3000mAh battery and will be running Android Nougat 7.1. The Nokia 5 will be available for €190 starting Q2 2017.
Nokia 6 (global edition) Specifications:
As for the Nokia 6 global edition, there is no change in specifications and are exactly same as the Chinese variant. But HMD Global unveiled a new special edition color variant named Nokia 6 Arte Black. It is also the only model which will come with 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. For all other color variant, users will get only 32GB storage on the Nokia 6.
HMD Global has priced the Nokia 6 for €230 but the Nokia 6 Arte Black will go on sale for €300.
