LG is working on its second flagship of the year LG V30 which will also be the successor to last year’s LG V20. We have come across a bunch of leaks and rumors related to what to expect from the smartphone and now, there is a new rumor suggesting that it might come with a feature which will be a first in the LG V series.
The new rumor shared by the serial tipster @OnLeaks suggests that the LG V30 will come with support for wireless charging. He cites his “sources” behind the claim and further mentions that it most likely means that the flagship will have a glass back panel. If this turns out to true, it will be for the first time that LG will opt for a glass back where all older LG V series models come with a plastic back. It will also be in line with the LG G6 which was launched earlier this year with glass back.He further said that the LG V30 is still confirmed to have a dual rear camera system along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as suggested by previous leaks and rumors.

As for other things expected from the upcoming flagship, it is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. We might get to see OLED display panel this time along with the secondary display and a 3200mAh battery to keep the lights on. It is also expected to come with features aimed at audiophiles like the previous generation along with a traditional 3.5mm headphone jack. LG is rumored to make the V30 official around IFA 2017 in Berlin but since it did not announce previous two smartphones in the service at this event, we would suggest you take this with a pinch of salt.
