The LG V30+ flagship has now been launched in India earlier today. The LG flagship phablet for the year has arrived in the country after four months of its global announcement at IFA 2017. While the global variant comes in two configurations, LG India has brought the higher configuration model here.
The LG V30+ boasts a 6-inch Quad HD+ (2880 x 1440 pixels) FullVision OLED display with 18:9 aspect ratio and HDR10 support. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM. It offers 128GB internal storage with support for microSD cards up to 2TB.
In the camera department, it has a dual camera setup featuring a 16-megapixel primary shooter with f/1.6 aperture, OIS, EIS, and a 71-degree field of view and a 13-megapixel secondary shooter with f/1.9 aperture and 120-degree wide-angle lens. It is the world’s first smartphone with a f/1.6 aperture which means it can capture the most amount of light which should help in clicking better and sharper photos. As for taking selfies, you will find a 5-megapixel shooter with a f/2.2 aperture on the front.
The whole package is powered by a 3300mAh battery with fast charging and wireless charging. It runs LG UX 6.0 based on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box. While LG V20 came with a secondary display, LG has replaced that with a software-based Floating Display functionality. Other features include Bluetooth 5.0, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
The LG V30+ has been priced at Rs. 44,990 which make it quite an enticing prospect for interested buyers. It will be an Amazon exclusive with sales starting December 18th. As part of launch offers, LG is also offering a free wireless charger worth Rs. 3,000 and a one-time free screen replacement which will otherwise cost Rs. 12,000.
