LG Electronics has now started to send “Save the Date” teasers to media which mentions an event that has been scheduled for August 31st in Berlin. The date is one day ahead of the IFA 2017 event and even though the teaser does not mention anything specifically, it is not hard to guess that it is the LG V30 which will be making its debut at the event.

The teaser in question here is in the shape of a smartphone with a display size matching the 2:1 aspect ratio. It is same as what we have seen with the LG G6 and what LG likes to refer as “FullVision” display. It basically offers users with a bigger display within a small body. It seems like LG V30 will be sporting the same as the LG G6.

It also has a silhouette of the alphabet “V” in the background which is the biggest giveaway of the fact that it is indeed the LG V30 smartphone. The teaser further includes “Save the Date” text along with the event date, day, and time.

As for the LG V30 itself, it will be a successor to last year’s LG V20 offering. It is rumored to feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage where we can get to see even more storage options. There are also reports of it sporting a glass back along with support for wireless charging and IP68 rating for dust and water resistance. As far as the question of the presence of the secondary display is concerned, it appears to be going away this time around. This is probably why LG went for a taller display than usual.

But as it goes without saying, all of these are just rumors and we will have to until the official launch to know what exactly LG V30 has to offer.
