Today was the first flash sale for the LeEco Le 1s smartphone and as per the announcement from the company, it has sold out 70,000 Le 1s units within 2 seconds of the flash sale. The sale took place on Flipkart at 12 PM. Another interesting thing is that LeEco received a total of 605,000 registrations for the flash sale which is also a record in itself. The announcement about the feat was made by LeEco via a tweet.

Atul Jain, COO, Smart Electronic Business for LeEco India told Indian Express,

“I am so proud of our achievement and the magic number of 70,000 in just 2 seconds which has never before been achieved by any other smartphone brand. I am so grateful for the trust consumers have vested in us and I am sure they’ll have a great experience in using our products.”

The LeEco Le 1s was launched by the company last month in India along with the Le Max. The former is an affordably priced smartphone but with a pretty good specs sheet for the price tag of Rs. 10,999. The next flash sale of the smartphone will take place on February 9 on Flipkart and registrations for the same have started.

To give you a quick overview of the specifications, the Le 1s features a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio X10 chipset along with 3GB of RAM. On the back, you have a 13MP camera and on the front, there is a 5MP camera. The phone offers 32GB of internal storage and houses a 3000mAh battery with fast charging support. It ships with Android Lollipop and features a fingerprint scanner as well as a USB Type-C port.
