Huawei has confirmed on a number of occasions that it will be launching its next flagship Mate 10 during an event next month in Munich, Germany. We also know a bunch of details like it will be powered by the recently launched Kirin 970 processor and feature a dual rear camera setup. And now, it is time for a big leak suggesting almost all the specifications of the Huawei Mate 10 variants.

The leak is coming from VentureBeat and talks about two Huawei Mate 10 variants codenamed Alps and Blanc. These variants are different from the one codenamed Marcel which was also tipped by Evan Blass (@evleaks) last month.

To start off with Blanc, it is expected to top of the line offering in the series with commercial name said to be Huawei Mate 10 Pro. It is likely to come with a 5.99-inch Quad HD IPS LCD bezel-less display with 18:9 aspect ratio and 7.5-mm thickness. Under the hood, it is reported to feature the all-new Kirin 970 chipset coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB internal storage options.

In the camera department, you are likely to get Leica-branded dual camera setup comprising of 12-megapixel and 20-megapixels shooters. For selfie lovers out there, it is tipped to offer an 8-megapixel front shooter. The whole package is expected to be powered by a 4000mAh battery and run EMUI 6.0 based on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. The flagship is also said to boast IP68 certifications for dust and water resistance.

As for the Alps variant, it is expected to feature most of the specifications (processor, battery, and cameras) same as the Blanc but with a few significant changes here and there. It is said to have a 5.88-inch Quad HD IPS LCD display but with traditional 16:9 aspect ratio. There is expected to be only 4GB of RAM with only 64GB of storage option and a thicker profile at 8.23-mm.

Huawei is expected to make all these variants official at the same event next month.
