Huawei’s sub-brand Honor has finally launched its much-awaited flagship-level offering Honor 8 Pro in India. The smartphone packs high-end specifications with great features for a price which puts it in the same category as the recently launched OnePlus 5. Like many other Honor offerings, it will become available as an exclusive to Amazon India for a price of Rs. 29,999 starting July 10th at 6 PM IST.
The Honor 8 Pro sports a 5.7-inch Quad HD LTPS LCD display with a 79% screen to body ratio and full metal body. Under the hood, it has the HiSilicon Kirin 960 chipset clocked at 2.4GHz and coupled with 6GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The smartphone offers 128GB of internal storage with support for microSD card expansion to another 256GB. In the camera department, you will find 12-megapixel dual camera system on the back with f/2.2 aperture, laser autofocus, LED flash, and support for 4K video recording. For those who love to take selfies, there is an 8-megapixel front camera with 77-degree wide-angle lens.
The whole package is powered by a 4000mAh battery (fast charging supported) which is quite big despite the phone having only 6.97mm thickness. The Honor 8 Pro will be shipping with EMUI 5.1 based on Android Nougat 7.0. Other features of the device include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, support for 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C port, and NFC compatibility.
