Google has finally launched the Play Music Unlimited subscription plan in India. This plan will give you unlimited access to over 40 million songs as well as radio stations available on Play Music service via Android, iOS, and web browser.

Keeping the Indian market in mind, Google has priced Play Music Unlimited at introductory price Rs. 89 per month along with a free trial for 30 days. This price is valid only if you subscribe to the plan within next 45 days after which it will be available for Rs. 99 per month. It will allow you to stream as well as offline download songs whenever you want.

The service features songs from all around the world including the regional music of India. You can easily pick languages that you prefer like Hindi, Punjabi, Gujarati, Marathi, Tamil, and Telugu, Western, and World.

Google Play Music Playlists

Other than this, Google offers various playlists based on the type of activity you are doing or the place you are visiting. Some of these include workouts, gym, kitchen, hanging out with friends, and dinner time. But it should be noted that even though you pick Western or World language, the app recommends Bollywood and other India-specific music playlists for the most part. While we don’t know the reason for this, we hope to see it get fixed in future updates or at least get it better with the usage as the app is powered by an AI.
