Flipkart has now launched its own Billion Capture+ smartphone under its private label ‘Billion’. While the brand was made official earlier this year, it is the first smartphone launch. The company said the phone is specifically aimed at the Indian market and is also a ‘Made in India’ offering.
The Billion Capture+ sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display with Dragontrail and 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, it has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor with the option to choose from two variants. These variants include 3GB RAM with 32GB storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage but both support microSD cards for expansion.
The smartphone boasts dual 13-megapixel cameras on the back where on is an RGB sensor and the second one is a monochrome lens. It features f/2.0 aperture, dual-LED flash, and support for Bokeh mode. There is also a special mode for capturing better low-light photos and during the night. On the front, it has an 8-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture.
The whole package is powered by a 3500mAh battery with fast charging. On the software front, it will be running stock and Android 7.1.2 Nougat but Flipkart has assured Android 8.0 Oreo update. There is also a fingerprint scanner and USB Type-C port.
Flipkart has priced the Billion Capture+ 3GB/32GB model at Rs. 10,999 and 4GB/64GB model at Rs. 12,999. It will go on sale starting November 15th along with a bunch of launch offers.
