The Coolpad Note 3 Lite is the newest smartphone to be launched in India by Chinese smartphone maker Coolpad. As the name suggests, it is the trimmed down version of popular Coolpad Note 3 which was the first phone to come with a fingerprint sensor at its price point. The newly launched Note 3 Lite continues that tradition and also comes with a fingerprint sensor.
The phone is priced at Rs. 6,999 (about $103) and will be sold exclusively via Amazon India through flash sale model. The registration for the first flash sale to be held on January 28 at 2 PM IST are already underway. You can choose to register for it if you want.
Other than the phone, Coolpad also announced that it will start making smartphones as part of Make in India initiative by the first quarter of 2016. These smartphones will be made from Videocon’s Aurangabad factory. The company is aiming for 1 million “Make in India” smartphones within the first half of 2016.
